Bath Building Society opens Junior Cash ISA transfers for local families

Bath Building Society now accepts Junior Cash ISA transfers, helping local families save tax-free for their children’s future.

Bath Building Society is now accepting transfers into its Junior Cash ISA, giving families in Bath a simple way to bring together savings for their children’s future.

The product is available to loyal customers and under-18s who live, work or study in Bath, helping local families build tax-free savings close to home.

Parents and grandparents can transfer existing Junior ISA balances from other banks, building societies or financial institutions directly into the Bath Building Society Junior Cash ISA.

The move means families can consolidate savings in one place without affecting their current year ISA subscription allowance.

Junior ISAs allow children to save up to £9,000 each tax year tax-free, making them a popular long-term option for parents planning ahead for university, driving lessons or other future milestones.

Emma Davis, Chief Customer Officer at Bath Building Society (pictured above), said, “We know our Members want simplicity, transparency and control over their savings.

“By accepting Junior ISA transfers in, we’re making it easier for people to consolidate their tax free savings with a local savings provider they trust.”

Bath Building Society says the update is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting Members with straightforward savings products designed for real life.

Transfers into the Junior Cash ISA are available now, and from next month the society will also accept transfers into its full range of cash ISA products in time for the new tax year.

For Bath families looking to make the most of the £9,000 Junior ISA allowance this year and next, the option to transfer balances could make managing children’s savings easier.
