Families can enjoy a series of much-loved children’s films at Bath’s Little Theatre Cinema this summer, with Kids’ Club tickets now available for just £3.
The Saturday morning screenings feature a mix of classic adventures and beloved family favourites, giving parents the chance to share some of their own childhood favourites with a new generation.
The season begins on 13 June with The BFG (PG), Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s much-loved story about Sophie and her giant friend.
On 20 June, families can join Tintin and Captain Haddock on an action-packed treasure hunt in The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn (PG).
The following week sees one of cinema’s most treasured family films return to the big screen. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (U), showing on 27 June, tells the heartwarming story of a young boy who befriends a stranded alien and helps him find his way home.
The screenings continue on 4 July with Hook (U), starring Robin Williams as an adult Peter Pan who must rediscover his adventurous spirit when Captain Hook kidnaps his children.
All screenings start at 10.15am and are part of the Little Theatre Cinema’s popular Kids’ Club programme, designed to make family cinema trips more affordable.
With tickets priced at just £3 for children, the screenings offer an inexpensive way to enjoy a family morning out in the heart of Bath while experiencing these much-loved films on the big screen.
