Pupils from Roundhill Primary School and Nursery in Bath enjoyed a memorable end-of-year celebration after the entire school came together for its first-ever whole-school trip to Avon Valley Adventure Park.
Children aged between two and 11 visited the 90-acre attraction in Keynsham on Friday, 10 July, enjoying a day packed with fun, adventure and opportunities to make lasting memories with friends.
Throughout the day, pupils met a variety of animals, watched the popular pig racing, explored the dinosaur trail and made the most of the indoor and outdoor play areas.
The visit marked the first time the Bath school has organised a combined trip involving every year group, giving children of all ages the chance to spend time together, build friendships and celebrate the end of the school year as one community.
Staff, governors and volunteers also joined the visit, helping to make it a shared experience for everyone involved.
Headteacher Emma Cooper said, “Our trip to Avon Valley was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, it was the perfect mix of great experiences, beautiful surroundings and unforgettable moments together as a school community. It’s one of those trips that leaves you with fantastic memories and a real appreciation for the people you share it with.”
The trip reflects Roundhill Primary School and Nursery’s commitment to creating memorable experiences beyond the classroom, giving children opportunities to learn, play and celebrate together while strengthening the sense of community across the school.
