Springmead School is inviting children in Year 3 and above to take part in its next scholarship day on Wednesday 30 September.
The event is designed to give children the chance to showcase their talents, interests and enthusiasm in a supportive school setting.
Springmead offers scholarships across a range of areas, including academic excellence, sport, performing arts, creative arts and all-round ability. The school says the day is not about being perfect, but about giving pupils the opportunity to share what they enjoy, challenge themselves and discover more about what they are capable of.
Scholarships are available from the Prep department, for children in Year 3 and above. Springmead describes this stage of school life as an exciting next step, with specialist teachers, more than 20 clubs to choose from, leadership opportunities and a wide range of activities designed to help pupils find their strengths.
The scholarship day gives children the opportunity to meet new people, try new challenges and experience a taste of life at Springmead. With small class sizes and supportive teachers, the school aims to help children grow in confidence while developing their individual talents.
