Families can access fully funded places at Bradford on Avon Town Council’s summer holiday club, helping more children enjoy a varied programme of activities throughout August.
The BOA Holiday Club is now under way, offering sports, arts, dance, drama and entertainment sessions for children aged seven and above.
Activities include multi-sports, tennis, pottery, K-pop and pop dance workshops, breakdancing, drama and storytelling, outdoor fun and circus-themed sessions. Standard prices range from £5 for an hour-long tennis session to £15 for a five-hour activity day.
Upcoming sessions include The Magic Circus Funshop on Thursday 6 August, tennis on Friday 7 August, The Magic Funshop on Monday 10 August and Circus Funshop on Tuesday 11 August.
On Wednesday 12 August, children can choose from a pottery workshop, a Pop Queens Dance Party and tennis sessions for different age groups.
Further activities include tennis for children aged 10 to 15 on Friday 14 August, outdoor fun on Monday 17 August, drama and storytelling on Tuesday 18 August and breakdancing on Wednesday 19 August.
The programme concludes with multi-sports on Monday 24 August, drama and storytelling on Tuesday 25 August and an outdoor fun session on Wednesday 26 August.
Tennis activities take place at the Culver Close tennis courts, while all other sessions are held at Bradford on Avon Youth and Community Centre.
An 8.45am drop-off is available for activities beginning at 9am and can be selected when booking.
Places are limited, but a number of fully funded spaces remain available for children whose families would benefit from financial support. No evidence is required and families will not be asked to explain their circumstances.
