Students at Prior Park College in Bath are celebrating an outstanding set of A-Level results, with the school recording its best-ever performance and pupils securing places at leading universities across the UK.
A total of 41% of grades were awarded at A*/A, while 72% were at A*–B – a new record for the college. There were particularly strong results across a wide range of subjects. Mathematics students achieved 56% A*/A grades, alongside 60% in Design & Technology, 44% in Economics, 36% in History and 29% in English.
The results have helped students secure places at universities including Oxford, Bristol, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, UCL and King’s College London.
Courses chosen by this year’s leavers reflect a wide range of interests and ambitions, from Law, Mathematics, Engineering and Cyber Security to Architecture, Film & TV, Marine Biology, Neuroscience, Primary Teaching, Pharmacy, Interior Design and Fine Art.
Prior Park also confirmed that its successful Oxbridge applicants have secured their places, while every student who applied to Medical School has gained a place on their chosen course.

The college said the achievements were a testament to the hard work, determination and ambition of its students, alongside the support of teachers, families and the wider Prior Park community.
