Prior Park says the results reflect the dedication of students and staff, alongside the progress made across the year group and the supportive academic culture within the school. Academic mentoring between Sixth Form students and Year 11 pupils has also played an important role, with older students helping to support, challenge and inspire those preparing for their GCSEs.
Deputy Head Academic, Chris Gamble, said, “We are incredibly proud of this year’s GCSE cohort and delighted to celebrate their achievements. These results reflect their hard work, determination and resilience, alongside the dedication of our staff.
“This year, our academic mentoring programme, with Lower Sixth students supporting Upper Fifth students, has been a runaway success. It has had a real impact on academic progress and, importantly, we are seeing our students take the lead in supporting and inspiring their peers. That cultural shift is wonderful to see.”
Prior Park College is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for pupils aged 11–18 in Bath.
