Students at St Gregory’s Catholic College in Bath finished the school year with a packed programme of activities, adventures and new experiences as part of the school’s annual Enrichment Week.
The week gives students the chance to step beyond their usual lessons and try something different, with activities designed to appeal to a wide range of ages, interests and budgets. For some, that meant heading outdoors for mountain biking in the Forest of Dean, while others experienced the thrill of indoor skydiving. Back at school, students developed practical skills through First Aid, baking, STEM and Design & Technology projects.
Music and movement were also on the timetable, with Jamma de Samba bringing plenty of energy to the week, while other activities included sport and encounters with birds of prey.
Adventures further afield
Enrichment Week also gave students opportunities to travel beyond Bath. A trip to Paris offered the chance to experience the French capital’s history, culture and famous landmarks, while students also travelled much further afield to China and Cambodia.
Closer to home, students took part in Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, developing skills including teamwork, independence and resilience.

“Enrichment Week is all about having the courage to try something new, step outside your comfort zone, make new friends and discover what you are capable of.”
Enrichment Week is an established part of life at St Gregory’s, giving students opportunities to learn, explore and develop outside the traditional classroom environment. From new friendships and practical skills to sporting challenges and international adventures, the week aims to ensure every student has the opportunity to try something new and flourish.
