Families with babies and young children are being invited to enjoy farms, fairytales, music, autumn activities and plenty more as St Margaret’s Calne brings back its popular Baby and Toddler Mornings this autumn.
Hosted by the school’s Nursery every Friday during term time, the free sessions are open to children aged 0-4 years and their parents, grandparents and carers.
The mornings give little ones the chance to play, explore and make new friends, while adults can enjoy a hot drink and meet other local families. Each week has a different theme, with guided play and creative crafts designed to inspire young minds. Sessions take place in the Nursery’s bright and welcoming rooms and dedicated outdoor early years courtyard.
Nursery Manager Juliette Heal said, “Our Baby and Toddler Mornings have become such a highlight of the week. They provide a lovely place where children can play and explore. We are looking forward to welcoming lots of families to our new autumn-themed sessions.”

- 6 November – Colours and shapes
- 13 November – Remembrance
- 20 November – Gingerbread
- 27 November – Christmas
- 4 December – Christmas
Baby and Toddler Mornings are open to all families in the local community and offer a relaxed and friendly introduction to nursery life at St Margaret’s Calne. Families can attend one session or book for as many of the mornings as they wish.
Places are free and can be booked by emailing email hidden; JavaScript is required or completing the school’s online Baby and Toddler Morning booking form.
