For families looking for an exciting day out in Wiltshire, Castle Combe Circuit has plenty to offer over the coming months, with five race meetings taking place between the August Bank Holiday and November.
The famous Wiltshire venue makes a great family day out, giving visitors the chance to enjoy the racing, explore the paddock and get close to an impressive mix of cars and motorsport action. From the championship battles of Midsummer Mania and the historic machinery of the Autumn Classic to the end-of-season Stage Rally, there is plenty still to come in 2026.
Autumn Classic Festival
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
Classic machinery takes centre stage for two days at the Autumn Classic Festival, which brings together historic racing, car displays and access to the paddocks.
Visiting clubs and championships this year include the Ferrari Owners’ Club, Scottish Motor Racing Club, FISCAR, HRDC, Motor Racing Legends, GT & Sports Car Cup and Mini 7s, with racing taking place across both days.
The 2026 festival will also celebrate 50 years of Castle Combe Circuit Ltd, marking the anniversary of the company established in 1976 to secure and develop the circuit’s future.
Champions’ Coronation Race Day
Saturday 3 October
There will be titles on the line when Champions’ Coronation Race Day brings the Castle Combe Racing Club season to a close.
Rounds 11 and 12 will decide the 2026 championships in Formula Ford 1600, Hot Hatch, Saloon Cars and GTs, while the supporting programme includes the Monoposto Reprise IT Tiedeman Trophy, 750MC Type R Trophy, 750MC MX-5 Cup and 750MC Hot Hatch & Classic Stock Hatch.
With the final championship points at stake, it promises to be a busy day of club racing around the 1.85-mile circuit.
CSCC Modern & Retro Race Day
Saturday 17 October
Cars from several generations will share the track at the Classic Sports Car Club Modern & Retro Race Day.
The meeting marks the end of the CSCC’s 2026 season and is set to feature everything from classic saloons to more modern performance cars. The programme includes Swinging Sixties, Future Classics, Modern Classics, the Jaguar Championship, Tin Tops, Puma Cup, Turbo Tin Tops, New Millennium Series and Slicks Series.
As with Castle Combe’s other race meetings, spectators can also explore the paddock and get a closer look at the cars taking part.
DAE Castle Combe Stage Rally
Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November
The racing year reaches its finale with something rather different when the circuit and surrounding paddocks are transformed for the DAE Castle Combe Stage Rally.
For 2026, the event expands across two days, with nine planned stages covering around 50 miles of sealed surfaces. Two of the stages are scheduled to run in darkness, adding another challenge for drivers and plenty of atmosphere for spectators.
The rally will form part of the ASWMC and ACSMC championships and TCS Plant Rally Challenge, incorporating the Celtic Micra Challenge and Formula 1000 Junior Rally Championship. Spectators will be able to watch from designated viewing areas and visit the service area during the weekend.
