News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Pudsey and the BBC Somerset team recently visited All Hallows Prep School as part of their recent Children in Need broadcast.

Pupils, parents and staff had been very hard raising funds by wearing mufti, baking and selling cakes and giving donations after a musical Autumn Concert.

The BBC team championed Lorcan as their Star Fundraiser for his sterling efforts in entertaining villagers with his card tricks, earning the charity £40. Overall All Hallows raised £1,307 which they were able to give to Pudsey and the BBC team in person, much to the children’s great excitement.

Children in Need supports many charities in Somerset and All Hallows is proud to support such a fantastic cause.

James Callow, Deputy Head, said, “The whole school community were very enthusiastic to support Children in Need. There was a flurry of activity at home and in the boarders’ kitchens baking a huge selection of cakes and biscuits which we sold at a couple of events. We are very proud to support Children in Need, which provides incredible support to a variety of very worthy here in Somerset and further afield.”
