For the first time, The Rock Project in Bath and Wiltshire is moving all its teaching online to continue to boost the musical skills and self confidence of its students.

The Rock Project rock and pop school offers children the opportunity to learn electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals, as well as experience playing together as a band, under the supervision of professional musicians.

Bop About Dance is running three classes each Saturday via Zoom for children aged two right up to adults dancers. The classes are –

9am Preschool Ballet (age 2-4) 
10am Junior Ballet (age 5-9) 
11am Adult Beginner Ballet 

The five-week block is £15 in total and that covers everyone in the household who would like to join in. Sessions can be booked by emailing email hidden; JavaScript is required 

Fancy a challenge? The always excellent The Photo Club has created an 60 minute challenge for you to enjoy on your daily walks. This time, it involves taking a photo through a toilet roll!

Completely free for all children and families, The Book of Hopes: Words and Pictures to Comfort, Inspire and Entertain Children in Lockdown is an extraordinary collection of short stories, poems, essays and pictures with contributions from more than 110 children’s writers and illustrators, including Lauren Child, Anthony Horowitz, Greg James and Chris Smith, Michael Morpurgo, Liz Pichon, Axel Scheffler, Francesca Simon and Jacqueline Wilson.

The collection, published by Bloomsbury, is dedicated to the doctors, nurses, carers, porters, cleaners and everyone currently working in hospitals.
