Those first few weeks, months and years of parenthood are so precious that for Kerri Fegan, it was crucial that they could be remembered forever. And this is the reason that Little Incy Wincy Castings was formed.
“I started Little Incy Wincy Castings to enable customers to always remember a moment, whether that be newborn, toddlers and children running around, those first moments as newly weds or those precious last moments,” recalls Kerri.
“I specialise in casting the hands and feet of babies, toddlers, adults and pets, as well as creating special breastmilk and cremation ashes jewellery. It really is such a privilege to work with mums, dads and families to capture those precious newborn moments from babies, energetic toddlers and children, those first moments as newly weds or those end of life memories.
“When it comes to creating the casting, we use a completely safe impression material made from natural compositable ingredients. This impression material allows me to get an exact replica of your child’s hands and feet, your pet’s paws or anything you can imagine! These wonderful casts are then presented in gorgeous frames complete with engraved plaques to make sure that these memories last forever.
“My favourite part about my job is meeting all the gorgeous babies and new parents. There really is something special about those first few months and being able to capture that memory for parents to have forever is the best feeling.”
The castings start from just £70 and take place at Kerri’s Keynsham studio. For those who live too far away, she supplies homes casting kits and instructions.
