Wiltshire-based classically trained opera singer and instrumentalist, Suzanne Sutherland, is offering her services as a vocal coach, violin and piano tutor to students of all ages from her base in Box.
With 20 years performance and teaching experience, Suzanne provides a high quality service to her 1 : 1 private tutor clients, working with students of all ages and abilities. The tailor-made lessons are designed to suit each student’s individual needs and goals in a supportive, nurturing environment, with a focus on performance coaching, improving confidence and stage presence.
“I have been an instrumental/vocal teacher for over 15 years and am passionate about enabling my students to become confident performers through a love and appreciation of music, in a warm and friendly environment, where each student feels encouraged and supported to achieve their goals,” explained Suzanne.
“When it comes to tuition, as a mother of two children, I am passionate about working with young people. Over the years, I’ve developed a well-honed level of patience which means I can support a child from total beginner at a young age, through to the more experienced intermediate musician. I can also help students prepare for ABRSM and Trinity exams.”
Suzanne’s lessons take place from her home in Kingsdown, Box, with the options also available for online teaching and travelling to students’ homes within a five mile radius of Box. The lessons cost £35 an hour at Suzanne’s house and £40 an hour at a student’s house.
Alongside the music lessons, Suzanne has over 20 years experience performing opera and oratorio, including at weddings and special events, with each performance tailored to an individual’s needs to deliver a truly ‘once in a lifetime’ experience. Her Operatic/classical repertoire has been known to reduce grown men to tears!
