Summer Holiday Fun at the REME Museum

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until 30th August 2024

A range of family-friendly activities including:

Lego Engineering: Be an engineer for the day and make your own moving vehicle. Suitable for ages 7+. Pre-bookable sessions, every Wednesday.

Rocket-Powered Workshops: REME’s engineers helped to develop the rocket powered Bloodhound LSR, which set new land speed records. Using specialist kit, provided by the Bloodhound team, explore how air can
power a vehicle across the room. Drop-in sessions, every Thursday

Bottle Rockets: build a rocket and see how high you can make it fly!

Junk Tank Model Making: create your own special REME inspired recovery vehicle from recycled materials.

Gnome Trail: Search for the gnomes around the large historic galleries.
