Lady Chatterley’s Cover at Chippenham Museum

Exploring the largely overlooked contribution made by Stephen Russ to the design of book covers, dust jackets and illustration. Russ produced numerous recognisable cover designs including the famous phoenix motif on the Penguin edition of DH Lawrence’s Lady Chatterley’s Lover.
