Discover the legendary story of Dido, the African queen whose life was transformed by the arrival of Aeneas, a fugitive from Troy. This immersive day school will explore the myth of Dido and Aeneas through the lens of Virgil’s Aeneid, featuring selected readings with English translations, guided readings from Virgil’s Aeneid, and insightful discussions led by George Sharpley, former university teacher of Latin.
Suitable for ages 16+ years.
