Poster Power at Victoria Art Gallery
May 6 – 10:30 am - 5:00 pm
Showcasing a range of British posters from the 19th and 20th centuries from the collections of the Gallery and Bath Record Office on theatre, events and entertainment, travel and transport, political campaigns and even World War One recruiting. Many of the posters have links to the Bath area, advertising events such as Theatre Royal shows, the Bath & West Show, community events on Walcot Street, and Bath Festivals through the ages.
In addition, younger visitors can enjoy a ride-on train and a farm-themed area alongside posters from the Bath & West Show, children’s trail, craft activities and guided tours on Thursdays 1-1.30pm.
