Working from still life arrangements and natural forms, students will learn how to transform observational drawings into expressive, imaginative abstract artworks. Across the four days, participants will explore a wide range of artistic processes including drawing, painting, printmaking, and low relief sculpture. Techniques introduced include collagraph, Tetra Pak printing, heat press printing, and plaster relief. By the end of the course, each student will have created a small collection of experimental mixed media artworks.
Suitable for ages 11-14 years who enjoy art, want to broaden their creative skills, or are considering future GCSE or portfolio development.
