Windrush Day Celebration at Bath Abbey
June 22 – 10:00 am - 5:30 pm
With artwork by Paula Ogun Hector and Samantha Walker to celebrate the Windrush generation and their descendants and work by local families and students who have been finding out about the importance of Windrush Day. In addition, on 22 June, there will be a series of public talks throughout the afternoon by members of the Bath Ethnic Minority Senior Citizens Association who will share their experiences as members of the Windrush generation arriving in Bath, as well as their descendants; and on 23 June, there will be a celebration Evensong (5:30-6:15pm).
