Former Museum Director Gareth Thomas will share reflections on his time in Gee’s Bend including the artists he met, the places he visited, and the remarkable history and creativity that have shaped this 200-year-old quilting tradition offering further insight into the exhibition and the living cultural heritage behind the quilts on display.

The New American Garden, designed by US landscape architects Oehme, van Sweden, features 40,000 narcissus alone, in a spectacular display.
