Sevens Indian Dance Workshop at Wiltshire Music Centre
Bharatanatyam is a dance form originating from the temples of South India, and Kathak is one of the main genres of ancient Indian classical dance, traditionally regarded as originating from the travelling bards of North India. Inspired by their evening show, in this workshop members of the SEVENS company will teach both dance forms. Stardust: a musical journey at Wiltshire Music Centre
Join 80 local primary school children as they take you on a musically magical journey through space accompanied by the Bristol Ensemble, narrated by Jon Monie (Bath pantomime) and directed by Greg Hallam (London Youth Choir). Stardust tells the tale of 6 friends who, after a disastrous turn of events, each end up drifting alone through space. We follow their journey as they find their way back to planet Zarg, discovering all the emotions they experience on their adventure.
