Bubble Bach is back, bringing a wonderful series of concerts for children of all ages, combining the music of J.S Bach and jaw-dropping bubble art!
Featuring huge bubbles, smoky bubbles, bubbles within bubbles, plus much silliness and amazing live music for oboe, violin and piano, the show is 30 minutes long and completely free to watch. There’s no need to book – just take a rug to sit on and enjoy the show.
The performances will take place –
6 August, Victoria Park, Frome
7 August, Alice Park, Bath
8 August, Hillworth Park, Devizes
9 August, Victory Fields, Bradford on Avon
10 August, John Coles Park, Chippenham
Performances take place at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm on each date.
Created and performed by Julie Payne and Aelfwyn Shipton for Music for Miniatures, the show was first performed last summer to provide families with access to live, outdoor music. It has since proved to be a huge hit, with a 15-school tour in June and July, and now a tour across parks and open spaces.
“Bubble Bach has proved to be a huge hit with children and families because it’s outdoors, it’s live, and it’s free,” said Julie Payne, Artistic Director and the owner of Music for Miniatures. “Children have missed out on so much during the pandemic and it’s great to be able to offer something cultural for families to experience together.”
