A fun and creative workshop suitable for all abilities to create your own unique bookmark using big needles and cross-stitch fabric. This is an easy introduction to sewing with plenty of scope for creativity in your design. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout.

Giant Dinosaur Heads at The Pound

Use one of the templates or create your own to make a giant dinosaur head to paint and glue together. Please wear old clothes as it may get messy. All welcome; under 7’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Annual Flower and Produce Show with Claverton & District Horticultural Society

Annual show with homemade teas and cakes, traditional prize giving ceremony, rustic crafts, countryside stalls, traditional children’s games, and over 100 classes of fruit and veg, herbs, flowers, baking, photography, sculpture, art and handicrafts. There are some entertaining novelty classes and lots of children’s categories as well as pet parade, children’s races, raffle and auction.
