Youth Connect South West in Bath has announced the return of its infamous Haunted Halloween event on Monday 31st October 2022.
In previous years, the event has been a real success, with over 150 children attending the Halloween trail in 2021 to enjoy some frightening family-friendly fun.
“This year, as well as the trail, we have added a wicked Halloween disco which is for primary aged children and below with their parent/carer,” explained Leah Kenny-Edgington, Community Events Coordinator. “The trail starts at Southside Youth Hub in Whiteway at 5:30pm and the last maps will be handed out at 7pm for people not attending the disco. During the trail, children will get to find eerie items along the way and meet a host of spooky characters such as witches and werewolves.
“At the Halloween disco, which is open from 6:30pm, there will be a chance to show off your best costumes, along with music, hotdogs for £1 and games! The whole event is free, and anyone can join in the trail, but the disco will require booking either online (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/haunted-halloween-disco-tickets-420477558697?aff=ebdssbcategorybrowse ), via the contact details below or in person at the Hub.”
Tracey Pike, CEO of YCSW, added, “This event is an amazing opportunity for the community to get involved in some spooky Halloween fun! It’s one of our most popular events and we’re excited to welcome its success back for another year.
“Everyone is welcome to attend the trail, plus we are welcoming any donations of halloween decorations, costumes and sweets!”
