Farmborough Church Primary School is hoping the England football team will be following in their footsteps this summer. The school’s football team have been crowned champions for the third year in a row, having won the Midsomer Norton District Small Schools Football League.
The combined Year 5 & 6 footballers have, once again, proved their skills on the pitch are unbeatable.
Team player and Year 6 pupil Oscar said, “I feel great that we have won because we worked very hard for this, and stayed optimistic.”
Headteacher Darren Roberts added, “We are so proud of the school’s football team and hope the England team can perform as well as Farmborough has.”
