Soft play sessions, trampolining and a family bowling evening are some of the activities being offered to children and young people and their families in Bath and North East Somerset who receive benefit related free school meals.

The free B&NES Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) is available for every child and young person in B&NES aged 5 to 16 years old – in Reception up to and including Year 11, who receives benefit-related free school meals. It will run from 22 July to 30 August and every session will include a free meal.

Each child or young person will receive 16 credits, which can be used for any of the activities.

The programme of activities includes holiday camps for all ages covering art, nature, performing arts, STEM, team games and sport. This year Roman Boxing Gym and Riverside Youth Club are two of the new venues and teenage trips include visits to Go Ape, Aqua Park and Thorpe Park and tickets to roller skating, boxing or football sessions as well as junior gym and roller skating.
