St Augustine’s Catholic College in Trowbridge has announce its Sixth Form Taster Days and Year 11 Sixth Form Welcome Week, scheduled for July 8-10, 2024. These events are designed to provide an immersive experience for prospective students and confirm their intention to study at St Augustine’s in September.
Highlights of the Sixth Form Taster Days will include –
- Interactive Lessons Students will attend sample lessons across various subjects, experiencing the engaging curriculum and meeting the dedicated teaching staff
- Meet the Sixth Form Team An introductory session with the Sixth Form team will provide insights into the academic and extracurricular opportunities available.
- Explore the Campus Get to know the college’s facilities, including modern science labs, Sixth Form centre, a comprehensive library and dedicated study areas.
- Student Integration Opportunities for students to bond as a year group and experience life at St Augustine’s.
- Transition Work Introduction Students will be introduced to their Transition Work, accessible on the college website for those unable to attend.
This Welcome Week is designed to prepare students for their progression to A Levels and to help them start building connections within the Sixth Form community.
