Students at St Augustine’s Catholic College are celebrating an outstanding set of A-Level results, marking another year of academic excellence and personal achievement. This morning, the college proudly announced that 23.9% of students achieved the top A*-A grades, while an impressive 49% secured A*-B grades, reflecting the dedication and hard work of both students and staff.

Headteacher, Mr Aidan Dowle, praised the remarkable efforts of the students, stating, “We are incredibly proud of our students’ commitment and resilience. The quality of the relationships we are able to build with our students ensures that each individual gets the most out of their time with us. These results are a testament to their tenacious approach to their studies and the support they receive from our dedicated staff.”

The college is also celebrating the success of its students in securing their future academic and career paths. An exceptional 80% of students have secured their first-choice university placements, including several noteworthy achievements:

  • Elijah has secured a place at the prestigious University of Oxford to study Computer Science.
  • Julia and Sophie will be pursuing their dreams of studying medicine at the University of Bristol and Keele University, respectively.
  • Amelie is set to embark on a promising career in Maritime Engineering at the University of Southampton.

Mr Dowle added, “We are incredibly proud of all our students and their preferred next steps. Their success is a reflection of their hard work, determination, and the supportive community we cultivate at St Augustine’s.
