Pupils at Nunney First School near Frome are starting the school year with exciting changes: a new Headteacher and brand-new classrooms.
Caroline Ford, an experienced school leader from within The Partnership Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust based in Bath and Somerset, has been appointed Headteacher.
Young learners at Nunney are also starting the school year in new classrooms which were installed during the summer holidays. The wooden-cladded building features two spacious classrooms, a dedicated outdoor learning area for reception children, and a small group space.
Caroline said, “I’m delighted to be starting this Autumn as Headteacher for Nunney, and am excited about all the opportunities this academic year will bring. We’re already off to a great start with these newly built classrooms, which have enhanced the educational setting for the pupils, especially the new Reception class.”
Nunney First School is one of 18 schools supported by The Partnership Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of primary and special schools across Bath and Somerset.
Emily Massey, CEO of The Partnership Trust, said, “Thanks to the hard work of the school team and colleagues at the Trust, the new classrooms at Nunney have been delivered in time for the school year and elevated the wonderful learning environment at the school. This is a great example of the collaborative working of our Multi-Academy Trust, of which we are proud. These improvements, and the enthusiasm of the new Head Teacher, have provided a fresh and stimulating start for all the pupils.”
