Bath Carnival unveils star-studded line-up for summer family festival

Bath Carnival has revealed its 2026 main stage acts, family activities and community programme ahead of the free festival in Sydney Gardens on 11 July.



Bath Carnival has announced the live acts set to perform at this year’s free community festival in Sydney Gardens on Saturday 11 July.

The annual event, Bath’s largest free outdoor arts festival, will bring together live music, family entertainment, creative workshops, community performances and the colourful Grand Carnival Procession for a day-long celebration of culture and creativity.

Running from 10am to 10pm, the festival will feature an eclectic programme of music on the new Camella Main Stage, alongside activities for families and opportunities for local people to get involved.

Headline acts include K.O.G Soundsystem, No Go Stop, Da Lata, Big Ben Jorge, The SoulFire Project, Tashkezar and the Rainbow Steel Pan Band. The line-up also showcases emerging talent, including Bath singer-songwriter Lawrie Duckworth and Flo Breeze from Emerge Studios.

Organisers say the programme reflects the diverse spirit of Bath Carnival, with influences ranging from afrobeat, funk and reggae to Brazilian, Caribbean and Middle Eastern sounds.

Families can also enjoy the return of the Super Pirates Play Zone, featuring giant inflatables, interactive games and immersive play experiences for younger visitors.

The popular Sydney Gardens play area will remain open throughout the day, while workshops, performances and family activities will take place across the festival site.

Bath Carnival will continue its support for local artists through the Music Workshop Community Stage, which will showcase emerging performers from Bath and the surrounding area.

Festivalgoers can also visit the Dance Workshop Area, where DJs, dance sessions and carnival-inspired activities will be running throughout the event.

The Grand Carnival Procession will take place between 3pm and 5.30pm, bringing together performers, schools, community groups and artists from across the region.

Bath Carnival works with schools, charities and community organisations throughout the year, delivering creative workshops and performance opportunities. This year’s partners include Oldfield Park Junior School, St Martin’s Garden Primary School, Bathwick St Mary’s Church School, Roundhill Primary School and Paulton Junior School.

Organisers are encouraging local people to volunteer, support fundraising efforts or simply attend and enjoy the celebrations.
