News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Children from two of The Partnership Trust’s schools have been thanking their teachers for National Thank A Teacher Day this Wednesday (19 June).

Students from Horrington Primary School near Wells and Farmborough Church Primary School near Bath have said a huge ‘thank you’ to all the teaching and support staff at their schools.

National Thank A Teacher Day is a nationwide event organised by The Teaching Awards Trust to allow ‘teaching and support staff across early years, schools and colleges to feel appreciated, celebrated and proud of the work they do and the difference they make.’

Last year they arranged for more than 70,000 digital ‘thank you’ cards to be sent to staff across the UK.

The Partnership Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust comprising of 18 mainstream and special schools in Bath & North East Somerset and Somerset.

Emily Massey, CEO of the Trust, said, “At The Partnership Trust we are fortunate to have such highly professional and committed  teachers and support staff who work hard every day to make a difference to each child’s learning journey. I’d like to join with all our young people to say a big ‘thank you’ to them today.”
