News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

St Augustine’s Catholic College is delighted to announce another exceptional set of GCSE results, reinforcing its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of our students.

“This year, our students have surpassed previous records, achieving an increased number of strong passes—a true testament to the effective teaching practices, dedication of our staff, and the remarkable effort and resilience demonstrated by our students,” said Headteacher Aidan Dowle.

“Our school continues to build on its success, and this generation of students has clearly reaped the benefits. The positive feedback from Ofsted reflects the quality of education provided at St Augustine’s, and these outstanding results highlight the determination and perseverance with which our students have faced their challenges.

“These results are a reflection of the consistent effort and dedication of both our Year 11 students and their teachers. It is incredibly rewarding to see our students thrive and exceed expectations. Many of them will now return to pursue A-Levels with us, and we are thrilled by the significant increase in external applications for the coming year.”
