St Mark’s School in Bath recently welcomed 45 students from St Mark’s School in Buenos Aires, Argentina along with their teachers.
Year 10 and 11 GCSE Spanish students from St Mark’s in Bath did a fantastic job of showing their guests around the school and making them feel welcome. The visit started with both sets of students telling each other about their schools (in both English and Spanish!).
This was followed by netball and football matches, with the netball match ending in a win for St Mark’s, Bath, while the football saw a victory for St Mark’s, Argentina. Both matches were hard fought and were great games to watch.
“We are so proud of our students, both players and supporters, for how they looked after our visitors on the day,” said Mrs J McMullan from St Mark’s Bath. “As a school we are looking forward to developing more connections with schools in French and Spanish speaking countries, and perhaps a return visit is on the cards!”
