Royal High School Bath Year 7 student Niamh has been fundraising for The Carers’ Centre in Bath, a charity that has provided invaluable support to her and her family.

With her mum preparing to run the Bath Half Marathon next weekend to raise money for the centre, Niamh was determined to do her part. While she’s too young to take part in the race herself, she found a creative way to contribute—by crocheting scrunchies in the RHB school colours and selling them during break times at school (with a little help from her friends!).
Her hard work and dedication have already paid off, with nearly 60 scrunchies sold and an incredible £300 raised for the charity! Thanks to Niamh’s initiative, not only is she making a meaningful difference, but the school is looking more colourful than ever.
