Autism friendly screenings at the Little Theatre
Screenings that are adapted in a variety of ways to help reduce anxiety and overstimulation and ensure a safe, enjoyable cinema experience for people with autism, and their families, friends and carers. Adjustments include: no trailers or advertisements, lights left on low throughout the film, reduced volume, freedom to move around, make noise and sit where you like, take a break and leave the screen whenever necessary. The Little provides a relaxed and welcoming environment where staff are sensitive to the needs of children and families with autism.
