Bathscape Walking Festival 2024

With over 60 events for families, groups and solo walkers, the majority of which are free (full programme available  online). Foodies will enjoy “Start with Cake, end with Cheese”, a 5.5 mile circular starting at Bath Soft Cheese, Kelston. For more ambitious walkers there is a 9.5 mile walk “A Folly, a Quaint Village and Some Engineering”, starting and ending at the Crown Pub, Bathford.

There is also a “Map skills for Beginners” session for anyone keen to build confidence using maps to navigate and plan countryside walks; “Tales from Charlcombe” walk through the deep grassy meadows full of butterflies and the woodlands where bats, badgers and deer; and an hour of “After School Nature Fun” at Twerton Roundhill with bug hunting finishing in the play area, snacks provided.
