Staff and volunteers will be cleaning, checking and recording books from the collection normally housed in the Plod Chamber which includes Shakespeare, Ovid, Byron and an Anglo-Dutch dictionary from 1681. A special book cushion, a gentle vacuum cleaner, a pony hair brush and special lamps are used for the process.
Included in normal admission; no booking required.
