Calm Sensory Sessions at the Holburne Museum

Created with neurodivergent children, families and adults in mind who may benefit from visiting the museum in a calmer and quieter period. There will be no large group bookings for during these times, audio for any exhibition films will be turned off, hand dryers will be not be available to use, visitors arriving during this period will be notified that it is a calm sensory time and clear signage will be displayed on entry. There will also be a quiet space with gentle doodle-inspired creative activities available.

You will be able to explore the museum’s collection and temporary exhibitions, explore sensory bags with a range of resources and toys, doodle and mark making with free ‘Doodle and Draw’ trail, as well as a number of free self-led activities in the Space to Make creative area.
