Medieval Weekend at The Bishop’s Palace, Wells
26th October 2023 – 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
Immerse yourself in 800 years of history. Encamped in the stunning ruins of the Great Hall, you’ll discover historical re-enactment group and medieval weapons experts Bowlore. There will be displays throughout the day, including demonstrations and choreographed combat using longbows, pallaxes, Dane hammers, Falchion & Langmesser.
The Black Dog, Bowlore’s weapons and armour tent, will be set up to offer a view of Medieval life with members of the troupe will be on hand throughout the day to share their expertise and answer questions.
