Playhenge at Stonehenge
An immersive, fun activity to help create a temporary adventure playground at the visitor centre using real tools to build the play structure of dreams using natural materials. In collaboration with Woodland Tribe, children and families can work together in a hands-on experience that bridges the gap between ancient and modern-day construction and play. The Talbot family were early photography pioneers, with the negative technique invented at Lacock in the mid 1800s. Constance and her daughters were also talented artists, which you can see some of the watercolours on display. Celebrating 10 years of Shindig with a Magical Creatures theme. A glorious mash up of a gig, a house party, a circus show, comedy night, a wellbeing retreat and a kid’s party. The first ever UK museum exhibition of internationally renowned artist and internet sensation, Mr Doodle. Primarily characterised by black ink on a white background, his graphic style conjures up a world of quirky creatures and anthropomorphic forms, using ink pens and spray paint to weave together what he describes as “graffiti spaghetti”.
