Monkton School Summer Rowing Camps
The camp will be split into different groups based on experience but is open to beginners as well as more advanced rowers/scullers. Each group will join activities appropriate for their skill level to maximise engagement and enjoyment, training with world class coaches and guests who have experience in coaching rowers. The first ever UK museum exhibition of internationally renowned artist and internet sensation, Mr Doodle. Primarily characterised by black ink on a white background, his graphic style conjures up a world of quirky creatures and anthropomorphic forms, using ink pens and spray paint to weave together what he describes as “graffiti spaghetti”. The selection of personal sketchbooks will provide the starting point for a show that will fill the gallery and spread across the walls, floor and ceiling.

A group of young people from Hartcliffe have been working with artists Oshii and Jono Gilmurray to create a sound and visual art installation for the aviary. The group explored the history of the building and the bird life that would have inhabited it, the significance of birds to the wider history and how the mining of seabird droppings (guano) for fertilizer made William Gibbs his fortune.
