Spend the morning with Claire Cartwright, founder of Friends with Shakespeare, for a two hour dive into Shakespeare's Henry IV Parts 1 and 2 exploring the social, political and philosophical context of the play, the narrative and characterization, and take a detailed look at some passages. Three dancers' shimmy through the audience weaving a tapestry of sticky tape in a tactile dance performance for young children. Tape, stick and groove, to see and feel sound or to be still, watch and listen. Audiences are encouraged to explore freely, choosing how they engage, and turning the rules upside down in this interactive, engaging and colourful performance installation for children and their families. Suitable for ages 3-5 years.

Make a fun, witches hat candle holder. You will be shown the basic steps but creativity and individuality is encouraged! You can make your hat look worn and battered, or super neat and pointy! Which witch would you be? Ticket includes all materials, a hot drink and firing; suitable for ages 12+ (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). A new Son et Lumiere installation marking the first light and sound installation in the Abbey.
