News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Adventure Babies has launched new classes in Bradford on Avon and Chippenham, to run alongside its Bath session. These classes for babies and toddlers 0-36 months offer multi-award winning themed adventures that begin with an interactive story telling session and are followed by sensory activities, including messy play.

The new classes will take place at Wallington Hall, Bradford on Avon on Monday Mornings, and
St Paul’s Church, Chippenham on Friday mornings, alongside the existing session at St Luke’s Church in Bath on Wednesday mornings.

“At Adventure Babies, we bring brilliant stories to life through interactive story telling & exciting sensory activities, including messy play,” explained Emma Bennett of Adventure Babies Bath, Chippenham and Bradford on Avon. “Classes have been carefully designed to support babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers at every stage of their development. This includes:

– developing and build vital communication skills; encouraging imagination, creativity and a curious, enquiring mind;
– promoting social development and thinking skill;
– supporting physical development such as fine and gross motor skills;
– developing all of babies senses, creating & strengthening brain connections;
– messy play that you don’t have to clean up after!
– Helping little one to fall in love with books and reading by joining our multi award winning story and sensory adventure.”

“We offer a range of classes which are available for different ages.”

Looking towards the summer holidays, Emma added, “I will continue running classes over the summer holidays but instead of running five week terms, I will be offering single booking sessions in all areas for £7 per session. From Mid September I will begin taking bookings again for 5 week terms for £35.”

When it comes to what local mums think of the Bath session, one said, “I can’t recommend this is enough. My five month old absolutely loves it and gets so much from it. There’s so much going on and Emma is really great at engaging all the babies of all different ages.”
