News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Tumble Tots Bath had their classes magically transformed into a Super Hero, Frozen and Fireman Sam adventure for Comic Relief at this week’s Wednesday get-together at St Philip and St James Church, Odd Down, Bath.

The older children in the ages 2 – 3yrs and 3+ classes crawled through Batman’s cave, became Spiderman climbing across a web and flew like Superman on the superhero station! There was also lots of climbing ladders like Fireman Sam and icy paths, a snow palace and snowman to throw snowballs at on our Frozen themed equipment station.

Meanwhile, the pre-school children built a snowman with the hoops, bean bags, lummi sticks, shapes and rings. There was also a treasure hunt with lots Comic Relief prizes to be won and all children will be given a Comic Relief colouring sheet.

Both adults and children were invited to come dressed in red or costumes, as well as their red noses and Comic Relief boppers, as they joined in the fun.

Debbie Bensley, the Bath & West Wiltshire Tumble Tots franchisee, said, “Wednesday’s classes continue our week of fundraising across all Tumble Tots centres, including those at Trowbridge and Warminster. Both parents and the children love our special themed classes and every year we actively support both Comic Relief as well as Children in Need. So far over £85 has been raised, with more to come as we head towards Comic Relief night on Friday 24 March.”
