Monkton Combe School near Bath is getting into the swing of the new school year with an outdoor screening of Disney’s “The Jungle Book’ and tickets are now on sale to the public.
The screening of the 2016 version of the children’s classic is being shown in the grounds of Monkton Prep School, Combe Down on Saturday 16 September 2017 with doors open from 6.30pm.
The Disney film, which won an Oscar for Best Visual Effects, tells the story of Mowgli raised by a pack of wolves in an Indian jungle and his encounters with Baloo, Bagheera, Kaa and King Louis.
It stars Neel Sethi as Mowgli and the voice talents of Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson and Christopher Walken.
As well as the film screening, which will start at approximately 7.30pm, there will be pizza, popcorn and delicious cupcakes available to purchase.
Monkton Prep School Head teacher Martin Davis said, “We’re delighted to be opening the school year at Monkton with this wonderful adaption of the Rudyard Kipling classic. The school grounds are the perfect place to have an outdoor screening, so please do come along with your picnic rugs for what is sure to be a fantastic evening for everyone.”
Adult tickets are £14, tickets for children are £9 and tickets for families of four are just £39. You can book your tickets online here
