News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Bath business, The Party Pirate, has helped to spread some Christmas cheer to children in Bath by donating a sackful of toys and books to The St Martin’s Garden Primary School Community Christmas present appeal.

“I heard about the Community Christmas Present Appeal on Facebook, and we really wanted to be able to do something to help,” said Emma Smith, owner of www.thepartypirate.com. “So many families are struggling this year and I hoped that by donating a few gifts it could bring a smile to a few little faces on Christmas morning. As a small business, my local customers are very important to me, so I wanted to be able to give something back and help where I can.”

The Party Pirate is also working with several other Bath primary schools and PTAs to offer 10% of the value of any sales it receives to that customer’s primary school. Any other schools who would be interested in this offer can get in touch to find out more.

St Martin’s Garden Primary School are co-ordinating the Community Christmas Present Appeal to help those less fortunate this year and are accepting new gifts, for babies to teens, to be given to children in the local community. Gifts can be taken to the school office (St Martin’s Garden Primary School, Lympsham Green, Odd Down. BA2 2UN) or call 01225 832112 or email email hidden; JavaScript is required .

Mrs Parfitt, Head teacher of St Martin’s Garden Primary School, said, “Following our successful appeal for food and clothing during the Lockdown period, before the summer, we continue to be actively supporting our local and wider community.”
