St Margaret’s Prep have hosted its first Spring Concert since 2019. Over the evenings of Monday 28 and 29 March, audiences enjoyed two wonderful nights of performance, which showcased the musical and theatrical talents at the Calne-based preparatory school for children aged two to 11 years.
From the entire Prep Department’s Instrumental of We Don’t Talk about Bruno, the orchestra’s three pieces played magnificently, Chamber Choir’s emotive Can you Hear me?, Rock School’s Believer by Imagine Dragons and the scholar’s fantastic individual performances, there really was something for everyone!
“While the pandemic has been a rollercoaster for the performing arts, the love for music, the joy it brings and the talent fostered at St Margaret’s has only grown and these two nights of performance were a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that,” said Headmaster Luke Bromwich.
“Huge congratulations to all the prep pupils and the amazing team of teachers, led by Head of Performing Arts, Mrs Gibbin, to bring this event together- there really is nothing like performing to an audience!”
