A new stage adaptation of The Time Machine, a fast-paced and wise-cracking retelling of the world-famous novel by H.G. Wells, tours to the Theatre Royal Bath from Monday 24 to Saturday 29 April.
This UK premiere production stars Michael Dylan (winner of The Stage Award 2022 for Wilf), Dave Hearn (a founding member of the Olivier Award-winning Mischief Theatre, seen on TV in The Goes Wrong Show) and Amy Revelle (Offside).
When the world of science fiction and science fact collide, extraordinary and mind-boggling things can happen in this comedy which travels to the end of the earth’s life in order to reflect on our own. Written by Steven Canny and Bristol-based John Nicholson, and directed by Orla O’Loughlin, The Time Machine promises a fast and funny journey with plenty of twists and turns along the way. Warning: may contain Cher tunes!
Audiences can expect the most surprising and unforeseen consequences as they go on a roller coaster journey through time as the award-winning Original Theatre Company, the team behind the hit comedy The Hound of the Baskervilles, return to Bath.
The Time Machine appears at the Theatre Royal Bath from Monday 24 to Saturday 29 April. To book tickets call the Theatre Royal Bath Box Office on 01225 448844 or visit www.theatreroyal.org.uk
