News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

A Multi-Activity Camp is being held at Bath Cricket Club over the October half term to give children aged 6-11 the chance to enjoy a range of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and cinema club.

The club will also be running Football Frenzy mornings for children in key stage 2 (Years 3-7), which will be filled with action skills, drills, games and tournaments, plus the chance to beat former Paulton Rovers FC goalie, Jack Scrivens!

The Multi-Activity Club, which runs from 9am to 3pm on 23-27 Oct, is open to children from across the South West, with many coming from Bath and Wiltshire schools. Taking place at Bath Cricket Club in central Bath, the activities are aimed at children with a wide range of interest, including cricket, arts and crafts, football, dodgeball and cinema. There’s also a chill-out zone and tuck shop of offer.

“The activity club are a great way for us to help parents manage the balance of childcare and work during the school holidays,” said coach Jack Scrivens. “For me, the best part of running the sessions is seeing the kids smiling and enjoying the activities we put on – it’s good to see them enjoying sport.

“Plus, we have an indoor sports centre so no matter the weather, we’ll be able to continue with the fun and games.”

The Multi-Activity Camp costs £20 a day. To find out more information and book a spot, go to https://www.bathcricket.com/bookings/october-2023-multi-activity-camp/
